2022 Slingshot Native Wakeboard

The Native has proven to be a team favorite for both cable-exclusive and boat-exclusive riders since its debut in 2020. This true crossover king is a reincarnation of two legacy models from years past the Recoil and Response with upgrades like the Elliptical Concave and subtle Flex Tips to meet the needs of the new-age rider. It’s fast and free on the water and features a medium flex pattern that’s rigid enough for explosive pop on the boat without sacrificing its playfulness in the park. This deck is undoubtedly your one-stop shop for every type of riding built for the rider that can’t be bound to just one discipline.

WHY WE MADE IT

We created the Native with design input from our pro team rider Alex Graydon with the goal of creating the ULTIMATE crossover board for all riding styles.

1. K9 Mounting System - A Slingshot exclusive, the K9 Mounting System solidifies your boot-to-board connection while minimizing the boots’ overall footprint on the board and allowing for more stance widths and angles than any other boots on the market.
2. Bottomless Base System - Our Bottomless Base System maximizes riders “feel” and connectivity with their board and the water. Boot liner soles are in direct contact with the boards’ surface, allowing for a more immediate transfer of energy.
3. Gummy Strap Closure System - Our Gummy Strap Closure System has changed the game for wakeboarders around the world when it comes to dialling in the perfect amount of pressure throughout the boot.
