Kim's insight on the difference between Open Toe and Closed Toe Boots
Transcription:
Hey guys! Kim here from Prowake here to talk to you today about the difference between open toed boots and closed toe boots.
Now the supplies for kids, women's, men, anybody who wants to ride wakeboard boots. Open toe or closed toe, so first of all, open toe
I think they're great because they fit a range of sizes.
So if for example myself in the boat and some other friends want to ride and we've got a little bit of a different shoe size, open toe are great because they'll help with that. Not a customized fit.
They're also great for kids because they're still growing So if you get them open toe boots then they've still got lots of room for movement, while still being quite secure around the arch of the foot and the ankle.
So that's open toe. Next you step up to closed toe boots, because you really want that "locked-in" feel on your board and you need to make sure you've got that instant response. So as soon as you put a little bit of pressure on your toes or your heals, you want your board to respond straight away. so it's just like wearing a pair of runners that fit you. Fit your feet it's a lot easier to run a proper fitting pair of runners.
So closed toe boots, they're customized to fit your size foot. Not for anybody else on the boat.
Any different shoe sizes and you'll get the response and the performance out of your board that you need when you've got a proper fitting suit. So that's the difference.
