With over 30 years in the watersports industry, ProWake is the lovechild of brothers Daniel and Mick Watkins (hmm... that almost sounds incestuous).

Both Mick and Daniel have helped shape the watersports industry in Australia, with a particular influence on the wakeboarding scene. Growing up performing in waterski shows, the brothers followed on from Daniel's success as one of the first professional Australian wakeboarders in the USA to bring the Australian Pro Tour of Wakeboarding to Australia in 2000, while Mick was editor at large for both of Australia's largest wakeboard magazines, Wake and Boarder.

Since then, events such as the Monster Energy Tigé Tour, Grommie Nats, the ProWake Show, and Tigé Owners Reunions are all credited to the pair.

In 2003, they opened Daniel Watkins DejaVu on the Gold Coast, before rebranding and launching their online store ProWake.com.au in 2007.

After more than 10 years of success, ProWake is now an online industry leader and trusted name in Australia for wakeboard, wakesurf, wakeskate, and waterski products and service, with a deep range from all of the leading brands and a customer base that stretches across every corner of Australia.

In 2024, ProWake entered a new chapter when world-renowned barefoot waterskier Brendan Paige, who had been sponsored by ProWake for over 10 years, acquired the business from Daniel. Since taking the reins, Brendan has kicked off the ProWake Tour, a nationwide collaboration with boat brands across Australia, bringing the best of the tow sports community together. Additionally, Brendan launched the ProWake Boat Show – Australia's first-ever tow boat-inspired boat show, creating a unique platform to showcase the latest innovations in tow boats and watersports gear.

The future looks bright as Brendan Paige takes ProWake into the next era, continuing to shape Australia's wakeboard and watersports landscape for decades to come.
